The term Satellite Events (SE) refers to any activity which is independently organized offered, and/or accredited by an organization other than the American Heart Association (AHA); and held before, during or after an AHA Scientific Conference.
You must be a current exhibitor, university or non-profit organization to hold a Satellite Event at any AHA Scientific Conference with the exception of Symposia Event Holders.
Social events for organized dinners and Exhibiting companies taking existing clients to dinner at a public restaurant of less than 15-20 people need not apply.

Complete the application form for the appropriate event type.
Please allow 3-5 business days to process your request. Please note applications being paid by check cannot be approved until payment is made. AHA will invoice you within 24 hours of application received.
Application fees are non-refundable. All restricted times are reserved for AHA programs, meetings and functions. Transportation and registration for Satellite Events held in the evenings may not begin before the approved event times. We accept check or credit card payments only. Checks must be drawn on a U.S. bank in U.S. dollars and made payable to the American Heart Association. Applications without the credit cardholder’s signature will not be processed.

Your event will be listed in these Scientific Sessions publications dependent upon your event type.
Preview – The Preview will be mailed to 13,000 pre-registered attendees in October.
Science & Technology Planner – Reach more than 16,000 of your best prospects at registration and in racks throughout the convention center.
Satellite Event Symposia Locator Map Reach more than 16,000 attendees as they use the map to navigate the city and locate symposia events quickly.
Scientific Sessions Website Event listings are published on the Scientific Sessions website that connects AHA members, exhibitors, and other related professionals with the important meeting information and resources our members and Scientific Sessions attendees are seeking. Event holders are encouraged to include a link to their registration page from their online event and can send it to email@example.com when it is available.
Mailing List Drive traffic to your event. Take advantage of reaching your customers early. The previous year’s Final Registration list is available for a one-time use and is available solely to announce your participation at Scientific Sessions. The Mailing List Order From will be available in May.
Satellite Event Information Kiosk – Satellite Event organizers will be allowed to promote their events by placing event brochures in this kiosk at the convention center in lobby area. Instructions on providing such materials will be emailed in early October.
